Photographic investigations in Central European regions that are known as transition zones between cultural landscape and wilderness, where contemporary ecological problems collide with tourism and economic interests. Behind the conflicts in the media about how to deal with climate change, species extinction, the return of large predators, problems in the forestry and hunting industries, and so on, one ever-present term emerges: alienation from nature.
